Epilogue The songs remain and in them is your voice. The ceiling remains and in it is your glance. Your streets remain and in them are my steps. You remain, and in you is my yearning, my yearning. The rage remains and in it are my tears. The words remain and in them are my tunes. The books remain and in them is my reading. You remain, and within you is my love, my love. The shore remains and in it are my footprints. Forgetting remains, and in it are my memories. The air remains, and in it are my breaths. You remain, and within you I am alive, I am alive. The songs remain and in them is your voice. The ceiling remains and in it is your glance. Your streets remain and in them are my steps. You remain, and in you is my yearning.

Night Each night a poem is written— dancing letters. You are across from me, silence, silence. Each night a poem is written, silence. Who else was in love? At night, a forgotten song is enough for her. Sunset, autumn, golden time The night is also hers. Someone comes-- this caressing hand—is it truth or a fairy tale? At night, a forgotten song is enough for her. Sunset, autumn, golden time

Separation I have gathered the clouds of my sorrow from the sky— the flowerbeds of our love. My words turned the rain to acid that erases our orphaning. O my soul, don’t hurt me so. Teach me, within the sweetness of the blood. Tell my body slowly that she will never be mine again. I remember the nights with trembling: how her beauty flowed through my house, Her voice piercing the walls-- the terror of farewell, the moments of my joy. O my soul, it’s not time yet. I have not quenched my thirst with love. Between the false and the true You have always done with me as you wished. This is the day when all was swept away; the stem of the tulip gone dark. My flaws are before you. I am revealed as a breath of air, caress on my passing life.

Pier Shattered into syllables on the pier of your words, letter-drops foam against your shore, winding in a whisper on your nipple-peaks, granting my desires to paint your body. Reconnecting, gathered into your midst: The naked moon accompanies every scab. Your lips emit the remnants of your moan. Running and trembling. Silence and a smile. You drowse. The night is rainy, like a stranger. For me, your image is a tone that cannot heal. Sweet, desperate, overwhelmed by the man who learned your words until he knew them by heart.

Simple The end of the summer wakes up the autumn. Nothing is simple when I’m simply in love with you. Your streets have surrendered to autumn. Summer is over, and you still rule me because nothing is simple at the end of summer, at the door to autumn-- nothing is simple when I’m simply in love with you. The birth of each word sanctifies her suffering. The poem’s desires impel me toward her. Longing casts a shadow on the light of loneliness. What is the reason to live, if there’s no reason to die? nothing is simple when I’m simply in love with you.

Circle The circle is closed. The dreamer wakes. At the end of the basalt paths, your heart won’t break. Our gathered deceptions scatter with the wind. For the sake of what we never were, you go on singing. Today you are allowed to remind me in public: immunized from tears opposite the inferno of words with its platter of rivers, the volcano of a full life. Strengthened by all the loneliness, we held on to songs. You have passed through my life like a foreign traveler, a passing shadow. You were present and absent. The pain felt pleasant. You planted in me a dream; truth grew inside, I pretended being alive, when my heart had died. Now you can go on bragging We have put off the garments of shame, exposed all that was hidden. On Friday night, the holy candles, the quiet prayer-- For me, you were the familiar and the foreign. You have passed through my life like a foreign traveler, a passing shadow. You were present and absent. The pain felt pleasant. You planted in me a dream; truth grew inside, I pretended being alive, when my heart had died.

Freedom Your tongue, a sulfur's dagger, Chattering and curved, from moral confines, you wildly, Whip a dark farewell. Your tongue - disordered tide, bearing with it rebellious news. I’ll drink a glass of this drunkenness across from which you dissolve. The hours of happiness will surely come again. Your character shall not play with me . Longing is not an emotion —it’s an unripe fruit that leads my soul far away. I, too, don’t want to die. I haven't yet tired of giving words Out there are songs of freedom that plead for melodies. Longing is not an emotion — it’s an unripe fruit that leads my soul far away. I will surely own hours of joy again In which you will not play within me. Longing is not an emotion —it’s an unripe fruit that leads my soul far away.

Happy Ending In a yellow brick road she keeps running all the time She wants home, and they showed her the way She meets a lion whose courage has disappeared: “Let’s go together all the way to the Wizard of Oz.” The lion, the scarecrow, and the tin man: each one needs a certain thing: wisdom, courage and a loving heart. A little girl with braids wants to be back home, After all there simply must be a happy ending. There are so many possibilities on her way. The scarecrow advises to choose each and every one. “I am not smart” he apologizes, “my head is of straw.” “So come along with us too to the Wizard of Oz. The lion, the scarecrow, and the tin man: each one needs a certain thing: wisdom, courage, a loving heart. A little girl with braids wants to be back home, After all, there simply must be a happy ending. The little girl has grew, the years went by, Now she is singing in the big blue sky, And when the end wants to run back to the beginning, He asks for a heart from the Wizard of Oz he also found. The lion, the scarecrow, and the tin man: each one needs a certain thing: wisdom, courage, a loving heart. A little girl with braids wants to be at home. After all, there simply must be a happy ending, a happy ending.
